Fourth grade is such an amazing time! They still have a love for learning and are excited to be at school. Right now students are at an age where they are still a little unsure of themselves and trying to figure things out. They can come off as a little shy and when they have something to say, it can sometimes be unheard.
With such an amazing, classroom microphone students will love to be able to share their unique thoughts and ideas.
Right now I have some students who are out of their shell and have a voice as big as a mountain, but some students are still trying to get to that point. In 4th grade these children really have developed their own personality whether they have a love for sports, video games, or reading, they all have a desire to be listened to. By making discussions fun and interactive it can help to engage those kids and make it so their voice is also heard.
My Project
This Qball microphone is the greatest thing since sliced bread and it's made with the classroom in mind! With the Qball microphone, students are able to interact and get moving by being able to throw this durable ball. It is a portable microphone that gets students excited about being next to share their thoughts and ideas.
Many times, as students get older, there are ones who are very extroverted and can't wait to answer questions or share their opinion, but that isn't the case for all students.
Some of these children are still trying to find their voice and figure out who they really are. What do they like? What kinds of things do they believe in? What is important to them? As a Title 1 school, teachers do everything in their power to help students feel empowered and while many of these students are very bright, their shyness can cause their thoughts and ideas to be unheard. With fun, interactive ways to share with their peers, it will help encourage them to speak their mind and give volume for everyone to hear.
