My Project

I get to work with the amazing students in TK-5th grade at my elementary school. The third graders I teach are great students and enthusiastic about music. We would love to have recorders and the Recorder curriculum in our music classroom this school year. Students love learning to play the recorders. They feel pride when they pass the songs on which they work. Students also feel accomplishment when they earn their belts with the program. They work hard to learn the next song and receive another belt. It motivates them to practice and work hard. It also exposes them to fun music such as "Amazing Grace" and "Ode to Joy" in the program.
