My students live in a rural community of about 2,000 residents. They may not realize it, yet, but they are growing and learning in a very supportive and tight-knit community that cares about each of them.
In my classroom, I have 20 kindergartners of varying social, emotional, and academic needs.
They are creative, clever, and spontaneous! They have so much excitement for school and learning; it makes my job so enjoyable! My students are unique individuals with unlimited potential. It is my job to ignite their excitement for learning so they can reach their full potential!
My Project
We need a new digital camera for our classroom. The camera we have right now is outdated and takes blurry pictures.
We need a reliable camera to capture our kindergarten memories.
I take pictures of the kids on different holidays and special events throughout the year. I also take pictures of them working every day on things like reading, writing, math, science, and even financial literacy. I know this is a special way to share student growth with families at the end of the year.
At the end of each school year, we make memory books with pictures and work from throughout the school year. This is one of my favorite projects, it is placed in a time capsule for the kids to open at high school graduation.
Thank you for helping us capture our kindergarten memories with a new digital camera. We appreciate your support!
