This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is a follow up to last years project about getting my students to do virtual trips using the Oculus Quest. With covid, our options were limited, but VR opened up the world to my kiddos.

This year we are asking for charging stations so the kiddos can learn to be responsible for caring for the VR devices by putting them away on a charger and keeping them charged and organized, instead of in a closet and having to set up daily for charging and them store again each night.

I like that they can be ahead of the curve with technology and learning and experience amazing things with VR, but also learning how to take care of and be responsible for their devices. This is a real world skill that many fifth graders need to work on!
