My students need cleaning supplies for our classroom including sanitizing wipes and disinfectant sprays to keep our room germ-free!
My classroom is a small group resource class for 7th grade Special Education students. We work on their specific IEP goals including reading comprehension, math problem solving, and work habits.
My students are seventh and eighth graders with special needs ranging from Autism, emotional handicaps, cognitive impairments to ADHD.
Our school is a science, technology, engineering and mathematics magnet effectively serving students who live in high poverty households. Ninety percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Through innovative programs, we are showing some of the most rapid growth in the state as measured by standardized test score improvement.
These supplies will help to keep our room and our friends germ-free so that we can stay healthy and in school! Truancy is one of the biggest obstacles that keep my students from reaching their full potential so eliminating as many sick days as possible will help them be successful!
By keeping my classroom clean, I hope to reduce absences due to sick days for my students.
It makes reaching our goals so much more difficult when our attendance is inconsistent. By keeping our class clean and my students healthy, they will be able to grow to accomplish their goals!
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
