Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a first year teacher, I am excited to have 18 lovely eager learners. Nearly all students attending my school are from low income households, but are all the same bright, lovely children. From my knowledge, one student is a child with special needs, and another is an English language learner. I am so very pleased to begin my career and get to know these spectacular children on a personal level. I aspire for my children to become a family, and to value the benefits of being kind to one another, and most importantly, themselves.

My Project

Desks can become quite crowded for children to keep their supplies neat and tidy. With books, pens, pencils, art supplies, folders, and many more, it can become overwhelming for a child to keep all of their belongings in one area. Therefore, it would be beneficial for my students to have seat sacks so we can keep our classroom organized. With a well run, neat and tidy classroom, more time will be allotted towards learning. Most importantly, the students will not feel overwhelmed with where to place all of their educational and personal items. Thank you so much for listening/contributing to my cause!
