My Students

The students in the Arts AV Program at HHS have intentionally decided to leave their "school of record" to come to our career and technical institute to study the art of Media Communications. These students leave many of their Jr. High friends behind and add hours to their daily bus rides so they can pursue a meaningful career in Photography, Graphic Design, Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, etc. etc.

Whether it is the sons and daughters of college professors or the children of dog mushers who live in a dry cabin near the Alaska range, we meld them all together around the common mission of creating high level productions.

My Project

Over the course of our streaming tournaments our camera operators and play-by-play announcers may spend up to 8 hours straight staring at the tiny on-camera monitors. Eight years ago we purchased add-on monitors for our cameras to combat this eye fatigue but they have become less and less reliable and a few have totally bitten the dust. This project will help us to replace our broken monitors and get our students back creating the best possible viewing experience for you at home.

We know you enjoy viewing the game from home in the largest format possible, how about helping us view the game the same way.
