Help me give my students Bietrun Voice Amplifiers to save our teachers' voices and keep them teaching loud and clear!

My school is home to 640 amazing kids in grades K-6, from various diverse backgrounds. We are a Title I school with approximately 84% of our family identifying as low-income. My school was recognized as an Illinois state and National School of Character in 2016 and our school district was recognized as a National District of Character in 2017 because of our amazing kids, fabulous families, skilled and loving teachers. Students at my school exhibit a variety of learning styles, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school houses twenty-one classrooms, kindergarten through sixth grade, two learning disability resource classrooms and two speech therapy rooms. We participate in Operation Backpack, which provides needy families with supplemental food each weekend. We also collaborate with our community college's Foster Grandparent program. Our faculty and staff provide a variety of after school programs to facilitate growth in academics, character development, specialized fine arts, and sports.
This project seeks to use voice amplifiers to reduce vocal strain and fatigue in classroom teachers and professional support staff.
According to the National Institute of Health, teachers are thought to be at higher risk for occupation-related voice disorders than the general population. Amplification can help teachers keep teaching!
As a speech pathologist in the schools, every year a handful of teachers lose voice due to stress, strain, and overuse. I used to lend out my personal voice amplifier to any colleague who needed it until his or her voice returned, but I was at a loss when more than one needed help. Additional voice amplifiers for teachers is the answer!
Having voice amplifiers readily available when needed by teachers and professional support staff, would help to maintain the flow of learning for students and decrease teacher absences due to voice loss from hoarseness, overuse and/or abuse.
Teachers will check out the amplifiers whenever their voices become strained and return them when they are no longer needed.
