This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Can I borrow some paper so that I can make copies for my students? Wait! No toner or the copy machine is down?!" My students could really benefit from a document camera, which would be used for whole group lessons and student presentations.

My eighth grade students attend a public school and are very engaged and eager to learn.

They are a wonderful, diverse group of children. In the eighth grade alone, about 10 different countries are represented. Our school is located in a highly populated urban area.

My Project

I have purchased several books with excellent graphs, charts and illustrations that would assist my students in grasping mathematical concepts. Unfortunately, we have very limited stocks of paper and toner, so I can only share select portions of these books periodically. With a document camera, I would be able to show the whole class any page at any time.

My 8th graders are in their final year before high school.

They know I care about their learning. It would be wonderful if I could say that this wonderful piece of technology was donated by others who also care about their success. What motivation! Thank you.
