This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our struggling readers need just a little extra help to get them across the finish line. Our families can’t afford tutoring so our district has generously offered Saturday school. My students work so hard during the week and now even on the weekend.

I need your help to provide my students with engaging rewards to keep them motivated and coming to Saturday School.

As you can imagine it’s pretty hard to get up on a Saturday and go to school, but my dedicated students do this and so much more to reach their goals. I know that being able to provide my students with a reward for showing up and working hard will help them continue to want to come to Saturday school and get the much needed supported they need to reach their reading goals.
