Help me give my students a safe opportunity to re-connect with our entire school family... and create a wearable work of art that shows off our HOUSE colors!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My student artists are bright, fearless, creative, kind and love their school family. This year, with many students learning at home, our school family doesn't seem complete! We miss each other! We miss the fun of making awesome art together!
My Project
Saturday Outdoor Art Adventures will allow both "at-home" and "in-school" learners the experience of a drop-in, hands-on, creative art making adventure- while providing time for our entire school family to safely re-connect in an outdoor, socially-distanced setting.
Saturday Outdoor Art Adventures will also allow our students an opportunity to try different art materials that were not included in their district provided "learn- from-home" art supply kits.
We hope Saturday Outdoor Art Adventures become a school tradition! If this project is funded our first activity will be tie-dying t-shirts in our House colors.
