I teach second grade in one of the most wonderful school districts in Oklahoma. My students are eager to learn and always ready to meet the challenge of learning. Although many of the students come from difficult home situations, they come to school with smiles on their faces and are eager to learn each day.
My students are special because they are compassionate students, curious to learn, and show kindness to others each day.
I am truly blessed to be their second grade teacher!
My Project
These 25 Seat Sacks will be used to play Seat Sack Scavenger Hunt throughout the school year. For example, one such scavenger hunt will be Book Titles Scavenger Hunt. In this game students will find a clue about a certain book title. When students answer this question correctly, it will lead them to another seat sack that will have another clue. When all clues are answered correctly they will discover the book that I am going to read them that month.
"Seat Sack scavenger hunts sound like fun!" My students are really excited to play these games!
Another scavenger hunt we will be playing with these seat sacks is Seat Sack Verbs. In this game the students will find a clue for a different action word in each seat sack. One clue may be, "What does a kangaroo do?" After they solve the clue they will act out the action.
There are many other scavenger hunts that we will play using these seat sacks during the school year. As the year progresses more scavenger hunts will be created for these seat sacks.
