Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I work with 7th and 8th grade students and with each class change, my students are coming in contact with surfaces and materials that other students have touched. With Covid, common colds, stomach bugs and allergies, it's been a lot of work to maintain a clean and sanitized environment.

Coming in contact with germs is inevitable, but staying on top of cleanliness can help minimize the risk.

Hand sanitizers and hand wipes will definetely help keep hands as squeaky clean as possible. Hands can transmit a lot of germs. This is especially important when my students are handling shared supplies like rulers and coloring pencils. Microban and Lysol spray will keep those constantly used desks and tables sanitized for the next group.
