Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a proud preschool teacher of students with special needs. My students enjoy dancing, singing, and pretty much anything else that a typical 3-5 year old loves to do! Although my students may have disabilities that still does not stop me form wanting to provide them with the best education possible. Many of my students have difficulty with fine motor activities so I try to find alternative things for them to help strengthen this area. They would love it!

My Project

Please help my preschool special needs class get new sand trays to practice and strengthen their fine motor skills! When working with students with special needs some students may not have the proper fine motor skills as typical children their age. It is important as an educator to find new and engaging methods to help strengthen this area for them so they can begin to do more things to make them more independent. As educators we spend so much of our personal money to help make sure our classrooms are well equipped and your donation would go a long way!
