My students (Scholars as I refer to them!) are inventive, respectful, resourceful, and oh so creative! I am fortunate to have a small class of 11 wonderfully – amazing – unique scholars. Our classroom has just gained 11 more kindergarten students from the other kindergarten class due to maternity leave. I will now have 23! Our school is the only Title I Charter School in Sarasota, Florida! I have been incredibly impressed by each and every scholar that has walked into our classroom family this year. With support from donors, we will have endless opportunities to grow and learn together this school year!! Thank you for believing in my dreams and helping however possible!!
My Project
We have been lucky enough to have an extra space right outside of our classroom that we can use to explore the world around us! We would love to have a sand and water area where we can use all of our senses!
One of the greatest learning opportunities that I enjoy the most about being an educator is watching the students playing and learning without even knowing it is taking place!
With these resources, we will be able to expand our love of learning outside and connect to real-world experiences! I look forward to watching them make these connections every day!
