Safety With Special Needs Students

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help our classroom stay safe and transition smoothly! The weighted room dividers will help keep our 3-5 preschool students with special needs safe and help them understand the different parts of the classroom and when they are allowed to play in the play area or staying in the reading/math area of the classroom. The weighted dividers will help our students know boundaries. The rolling chairs help us teach and roll around the classroom easily when students need to transition to the next center safely. We use the rolling chairs to go back and forth between students easily.

These items help keep our classroom running smoothly and safely at all times!
