My Students

Our students come to school with the desire to learn and better themselves. They are filled with school spirit and excitement for what is to come. Many are involved in school organizations, which help create new friends and connections. This is an incredible accomplishment for these students as more than half come from low-income households. There is still a desire to dream and become all that they can be.

These students continuously strive for greatness amongst themselves as well as pushing those around them to succeed.

They desire to see their community grow and to see their peers achieve their dreams.

My Project

Our goal is to create safe atmospheres for all students to learn. We also want to give the students opportunities to enjoy their time while they are in high school. It is found that if there are known incentives for participating in events, certain behaviors, or actions. While taking part in these, there is a much larger chance of the students to adapt positive behaviors and actions to take with them into society.

These items have been found, through surveys, would highly motivate students to participate in safe activities and behaviors that will be determined through nominations and random drawings.
