This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As teachers at a low income school, our students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, we are looking to keep things simple and provide our students and their parents with options that make their safety our number one priority!

Our students and parents want a streamlined way to get home at the end of the day.

They want an easy system that keeps them and their children safe.

My Project

We were lucky enough to have our parking lot and driveway redone to help make dismissal go smoother each and every day. One thing that wasn't included in the new construction was the safety materials needed to make sure our students are able to get to their parents safely. The parking cones and stop signs will help our teachers and parents easily communicate at dismissal and ensure our students safety each and every day. There is much more we need to ensure our students safety every day, but these items will definitely be a great start to our current project.
