This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 5th grade students all go to a Title I school that prides itself in making sure that all students know they can succeed. Even though the majority of the students are considered at-risk, we instill in them the belief that all students can accomplish their dreams with hard work and determination.

We also help them understand that obstacles are challenges they will conquer and overcome.

My students are excited to learn, excited to understand, and excited to have fun!!

My Project

I am requesting a climbing wall mat that will protect our climbing wall. The students will put these wonderful purple mats under the climbing wall when they are learning to climb. When our climbing wall is not in use, these climbing wall mats will be stood up for safety purposes.

These climbing wall mats are a vital component to our climbing wall.

These mats will be used by the students when the climbing wall is in place and they are climbing up and across the wall. Safety is our number one goal and these mats will protect the students from any accidental falls.

I am also asking for Nerf footballs for my students to learn football skills using safe equipment.
