Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My football team works hard to be as successful as they can. They all have the drive and motivation to live their dreams. They are not the biggest, not the fastest, or the strongest but they all love to play ball for their school and community.

Each player on my team absolutely loves learning the game of football, although the environment in which they learn best varies from how they see other teams.

We incorporate a variety of different methods to ensure that each player's needs are met through fundamentals and safe strategies. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to be a part of their lives!

My Project

Dick's Sporting Goods is one of the leaders in providing safe and and durable equipment to help keep player safe and reduce the risk of player injury. The game of football is changing all the time and players need to be equipped with up to date gear to ensure reducing their risk of injury.

With plenty of safe and quality equipment, our players will feel secure in their uniform and will have quality equipment to perform at their best!

The more protective equipment we can provide, the more participation we will have. Some students do not come out for sports because there is not enough equipment or they cannot afford to get the necessary gear.
