Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are unique in their own way. They all have abilities that make teaching them enjoyable. Even though some have disabilities they still have their own creativity and willing to learn. The typical students have a big impact to both the other students and staff. My students want to learn and are excited everyday when they enter the building. Let me continue to spark excitement and help them continue their love for learning. Most of these students have never been in a school setting before or had the chance to explore with their imagination with other peers.

My Project

These materials will help with both classroom management and provide a safer environment for the students to learn in. The soft blocks will help our students from getting hit in the head or arm with hard blocks. The student will enjoy this gift the most.

The pocket charts will help the students visually see what is happening today and make the learning more interactive.

These will also help my program go above and beyond what the state is requiring us for Step Up to Quality. All of these materials will have a huge impact on my struggling students learning experience.
