Our school is a grade six through eight school located in the city of Providence, Rhode Island. Our students are very diverse and participate in a rigorous academic program as well as a variety of extra-curricular activities. We also have an English Language Learner Program (ELL) for students who are speakers of another language other than English.
My technology students are very curious and enjoy participating in new experiences!
My classes are composed of diverse students of different genders with an interest in technology.
My students do not have access to water bottles. Students will use the materials from this project to be able to safely hydrate themselves throughout the day by not having to drink directly from the water fountains.
These bottles will allow them to use the water bottle filling feature at the water fountains which is hands free and does not require them to touch the water fountain in any way to access water.
Safety and hygiene are of great concern. I want my students to stay safe as they hydrate.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
