This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school is a Title I school; we are a small school that provides an environment where every child is able to learn. We provide many opportunities for all students to feel loved and that they are in a safe environment. Many of the students that I teach come from low-income families. Most of the students have two or more siblings and many of the families are unable to afford school supplies.
My students are very energetic and eager to learn new things.
My students love to read and write, they like to work with puzzles and a variety of activities throughout every center. Pre-K is such an exciting grade to teach, it is very unpredictable. This is the stage where we begin to build onto and increase children's knowledge and skills of the world around them.
My Project
These items that are being requested will help to ensure that my students are safely learning in a clean, healthy, and germ free environment. The air purifier will be used to clean the air in the classroom. The mask will be used to make sure that students are properly protected during this worldwide pandemic. We need a mop to keep our floor clean and free of dirt. And the sanitizing spray will be used to disinfect tables, chairs, and other classroom items.
By donating to our project, you will be helping to improve the air quality and sanitation of the classroom, as well as keeping down the spread of germs causing students to become sick.
Students will be able to better focus on learning in a clean environment.
