Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love most about my students is their resilience and flexibility. My students have a positive attitude towards our current learning experience and each other. They are hard workers who participate in everything we do, and they make each other and me laugh every day.

I love that they are very close, helpful, and accepting of each other.

They have formed beautiful relationships with one another. They respect, cheer and encourage each other to keep trying, and they help one another all the time. They are a joyful and unique bunch who truly care about one another and their teacher.

I am truly blessed to have such a great group of children and their families who are supportive, caring, and loving towards one another and toward me.

My Project

This project will help provide my students a continual safe environment. The face masks will help ensure my students have fresh masks everyday and it will allow us to have extras when needed. The snacks listed will help satisfy my students' hunger between meals. Additionally they will provide them the nutrition and boost of energy they need to stay engaged and focused throughout the day. When needed, additional snacks are sent home daily and weekly to ensure that my students have a little something extra to eat at home after school every day.
