This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are motivated to learn new things, enjoy reading, funny, energetic, and are looking forward to the challenges and learning experiences they will encounter in 4th grade.
The majority of my students are from low income families whose parents have migrated here from other countries.
They understand the importance of getting a good education and appreciate the sacrifices their parents have made so they can have a better life. What I love about my students is that they do not let their circumstances define their future. The excitement they have for learning is priceless!
My Project
As you know, we are back to school in a way we have never been before. With so many changes, I want to continue to provide quality instruction as well as keep my students safe. Unfortunately, we cannot share materials and interact in a manner that we are used to. Therefore, students must be extra organized and keep their belongs neat and in one location.
By donating storage binds to each student, you will be providing a safe area for students to store and access their books and learning materials.
DonorsChoose is the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
As a teacher-founded nonprofit, we're trusted by thousands of teachers and supporters across the country. This classroom request for funding was created by Mrs. Lyncook and reviewed by the DonorsChoose team.
