Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergarten students are amazing, inquisitive and excited about learning! They are 18 kids from different walks of life and different experiences. This is my 13th year teaching at a Title I school, and it hasn't stopped being rewarding.
My students are eager to learn about the world, and I want to fuel that in a productive way!
They have not placed limitations on themselves, and I want to show them that they never have to! My students are full of personality, humor and pure sweetness. They never fail to make me (and each other) laugh every day.
My Project
I am teaching in-person Kindergarten, and I am trying to keep them safe and healthy. With these storage items, I will be able to store their supplies, folders, math manipulatives, pencils, etc. in a safe way. The baskets will hold their items, while the mesh bags will hold their math tools (cubes, counting bears, etc.) The toothbrush holders will hold their pencils.
This way they can keep their items from touching other student's items to keep them safe.
I don't have lockers or cubbies in my room, so individual storage is the way to go for my class. Thank you!
