I have a large group of very diverse inner city children who range from 3-5 years of age. My classroom is located in Jersey City, New Jersey.
I feel lucky to spend my day teaching them that it is fun to learn new things and to motivate them to keep on learning in everything they do.
I love giving them every opportunity to learn and to introduce new and fun materials and equipment to help them reach their highest potential.
My Project
This school year is going to be a challenging one! I am hoping that I can help parents and students feel safe and comfortable by creating individual learning boxes for each child.
My PreK students learn from hands on experiences and these supplies need to be kept safe and clean in individual containers to avoid cross contamination.
Each child will have a learning box set up with items such as: crayons, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, dice, small manipulative toys , books, art supplies, paper, games, magnets, play dough, and more.
