Help me give my students stools that are not broken. Currently our stools are over 20 years old and are unsafe to sit on. This year 4 stools broke and need replacement.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in an inner city that is not only facing a financial crisis never seen before, but as well as on the state level. In my first time as a 12 year teacher, I have been faced with teaching a consumable class such as visual art without any new supplies. I am providing one of the only experiences for the students to be exposed to true prohect based learning, higher order thinking projects and hands on experiences that give them a unique experience from the rest of their academic day.
My students are a very diverse group of students that come from an inner city population and all walks of life.
From impoverished to affluent families, immigrant/refugee population to your "kid next door", to english as a second language to english speaking ivy league bound, and everything in between. My students deserve to get the same supplies and educational experiences as students across the state and country, and with our financial crisis and budget freeze they will suffer this year and for the foreseeable future.
With the supplies I get I will continue to enrich their daily lives and high school experience by providing them with the tools create!
My Project
Currently students sit on unsafe stools that are either broken or close to breaking soon. They wobble, they are uncomfortable and are very unattractive. This adds to the "broken windows" effect in schools. When students see the lack of quality and appearance to their equipment they are less likely to take care of them and the space around them.
My district will not order or provide new furniture for my classroom and I am using over 20 year old stools for 125 students every year.
Without new stools, I am continuing to put my students in dangerous and uncomfortable conditions. They are nervous to sit on some stools and need to have assurance they wont get hurt while in my class.
