Safe Spaces for Social Learners
My students need a space for morning meeting. This rug will provide them with adequate room and a comfortable place to start their day. They need book bins to keep their collections of books each week.
My class of diverse learners comes to school excited and ready to learn every day and I get so excited each year seeing them become global citizens and internationally-minded thinkers. Ours is a classroom rich in cultural diversity, kindness, and fun! By providing us with these classroom essentials, you are helping my students feel safe, welcome, and excited about their school day.
My students face many challenges outside of the classroom including violence, poverty, and unstable family lives.
School gives them a safe space to learn, make mistakes, and grow. Please help them get the best start possible on their education career!
First and second graders are blossoming as readers. They tear through books and climb through the levels as quickly as you can imagine! By supplying my classroom with book bins, you are giving my students necessary tools to keep their instruction individualized and helping me to meet each child's needs specifically.
First and second graders are also innately social, energetic, and excited.
Because of this, we need a space in which to practice social learning each day, and a morning meeting rug would provide this for us! In addition to giving us a place to host morning meeting, this rug would provide students with a fun place to work individually, collaboratively, and increases their options for classroom seating.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
