My Students

My students are bright students in a district that is considered low-income. They are students considering going into the field of education and freshman gaining social-emotional education. Many of them endure things that make it hard for school to be their main focus while in school, so I try to help provide some of their necessities to eliminate some of their stress.

My Project

The items on my list will allow my students to feel safer with higher quality masks. Many of my students are responsible for their own necessities and purchasing higher quality masks is not always an possible. The nature of my class is very collaborative, so masks and cleaning supplies will allow lessons to continue as normally as possible. I teach Early Childhood Education in a Career and Technical Education program. Activities are hands-on and the requested supplies will keep that possible. Higher quality masks would also eliminate missed instruction and school experiences.
