I have a wonderfully unique group of students who are very special! My group of superstars have Autism. I am so proud of my class, they never use their disability as an excuse for anything. They are very hard workers and a bright group of students. They surprise me every day with their love, smiles, work dedication, and willingness to try new adventures, even though it is a struggle sometimes. I only want the best for my amazing students during their elementary career!
My Project
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their safety while in the classroom. Although I have a class of fantastic students, sometimes behaviors happen. Chairs seem to move across the room as if a ghost was responsible, and sometimes those legs on the desk get tired and they seem to flip over. By providing the rectangular floor tables and the soft comfy floor seats I feel these behaviors will drastically decrease. The softness of the chairs will also eliminate the threat of injury to other students and staff.
My top priority is the safety and well being of my students.
I want them to have a learning environment that is free from the threat of danger where they can be comfortable while learning in an environment that is sensitive to their sensory needs. Thank you for your help!
