This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The students that I am fortunate to teacher are the next generation of future leaders. Many of the students are eager to learn and explore what their future careers would like in the Pathway and Journey Curriculum in Industry Based Credentials Certification Classes. The range of learners vary for high functioning students to students who need extra support to reach their educational goals.
Having additional equipment and resources will create a well-prepared environment for all learners to include English Language Learners, Special Education Students and on task students.
Additional support can help bridge learning gaps and student engagement for those who may struggle with grasping the curriculum by having hands on additional support. Our school is a Title 1 approved school which assist all students with diverse backgrounds.
My Project
During the uncertain times we are presently experiencing, it is good to know there are tools that can give some type of protection as much possible.
This project will not only provide many students who can not afford to purchase protective gear daily, week and even monthly but also ensure students we care about their safety.
This project safeguards students from direct impact of contagious diseases to a limit. It is our hope that we all can be provide students the opportunity to attend school and continue the learning experience.
