Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school in Pennsylvania and all receive free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast. They attend a typical inner-city school. Most face serious obstacles before they even walk through​ the doors in the morning. Our goal is to make our school a safe and loving environment.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and many come from different countries.

This makes our school pretty special in so many ways. The students all work so hard and are very deserving of this project.

My Project

All Students need to be safe and secure to learn. If they are sick they can't be in class to learn. This is why we need masks. Online learning is not a great option for middle school students. If the kids are sick they can not be in school. I need to keep my classroom germ free. If we have paper towels and hand soap that’s a great start to our safety. We also need boxes of tissues to stop the spreading of more germs. These supplies seam so simple but they mean the world to us.
