Safe and Sanitary in the New Year

My Students

My students live in a rural community. The students come from diverse backgrounds and have a strong desire to learn and be challenged in new and exciting ways! They seize opportunities and are excited by new perspectives and additions to our classroom.

Classroom instruction includes highly engaging, hands-on activities to keep students focused and motivated.

My students are in need of opportunities to build a strong educational foundation that will benefit them their entire lives. They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

My classroom can use an upgrade and replenishment of cleaning and sanitation supplies. We cook, sew, and teach other hands-on lessons in my classroom. With those activities, we need to wash dishes in the dishwasher, use the washer to wash dish towels, dish cloths, and other fabrics, and we also will use general cleaning supplies to keep surfaces disinfected and safe. These materials will reinforce our curriculum that is already in the classroom, and will give students the hands on experiences that they love to learn from, instead of reading about the tasks and taking notes.
