I will be teaching 1st grade next school year. I will be working with 21 1st graders. The students in my classroom come from low income families and need all the support they can get.
My student’s will need their own supplies due to COVID in order to ensure their safety.
Most of my students have finished off last school year with a lot of stress. I would like them to come to my classroom with a positive perspective. I would also like my students to have fun materials that will keep them excited to be at school. I believe my students can benefit from positive-reward system.
This donation will give my student’s the opportunity to be in a positive and healthy environment.
My Project
With COVID, it is critical that students have their own personal classroom material. With the social distancing, students will need to make sure that they do not share classroom material. With this donation, the students will have their own bag of supplies for the classroom which will remain in their desk rather than shared items in a caddy.
