This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am very thankful to be the teacher of twenty motivated, eclectic, third graders. We are a part of a large public school in Oakland, California and we are having a great start to our school year!

We are a class full of unique and powerful third graders!

We are linguistically and culturally diverse. We are gamers, artists, readers, and writers. We are working hard at making the transition back to in person learning safe and memorable!

My Project

Students have spent the last two weeks making memories with their families and taking a well deserved break. As we transition back into the classroom, we will need essential supplies to keep us safe.

Donating to this project will ensure that our classroom is stocked with all the supplies we need to safely learn alongside each other.

The CDC is recommending we use N95 masks, to be fully protected from virus pathogens. I am also making sure I am wiping down all surfaces before and after school with proper cleaning supplies and techniques.
