Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are excellent they can get rowdy at times, but, they are children so what else can we expect? My students are special to me because this is my first year teaching and they are all unique in their own way. These children appreciate anything and everything!

My Project

These materials will help my students tremendously. The beanbag chair will give them a safe and comfortable place to gather themselves if they get overwhelmed and need to calm themselves without leaving the classroom and missing the lesson that is being taught.

The fidget toys will help my students stay focused during a lesson and will keep them from tapping or interrupting other students.

The microphone will make the lesson being taught more interesting to my students and will help them hear me better, especially the students who are in the back of the classroom. This will also excite and engage my students to want to participate in class by getting to use the microphone to share their answers.
