Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are superstars! We have such a great community of students and families. They are hard workers, with dreams of success for their future.
Ninety-nine percent of our scholars qualify for free or reduced-priced lunch.
For many of them, English is not their primary language. We try our best to create an environment of loving learning, especially literacy. Our students get very excited whenever we get new supplies in our classroom.

My Project
We are requesting many different types of sports balls, relay race equipment, a net, storage equipment and more to make sure our students have what they need to play during recess. Our students love to run around and have fun during recess, these tools will allow students and teachers to make sure that play is safe. This project will allow for all of our upper grade levels to have their own bag that is full of brand new recess equipment. If this project is funded, students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade will have the resources they need to have fun engaging play during recess. We have also requested a lockable outdoor storage box for the equipment.
