Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been teaching for 27 years! I love meeting my students year after year. I need to keep many students engaged in learning. My classroom is filled with students ready to learn and I want to create a fun and comfortable environment to learn in.
I teach third grade in South Florida.
My students come from all types of backgrounds. Many of my students are bilingual. They are so eager to learn and devour new knowledge. I am so excited for this year to begin!
My Project
These book bins will brighten up our classroom. Most of the book bins in my classroom are 10 years older than my students. We also need printer ink because our school system is not replacing our printer ink. I make copies on my personal printer/copier all of the time. If a parent needs a copy of a conference form I make a copy. If a student was absent for notes, I make a copy. I also make color copies for different activities in my classroom. These are the reasons why I need new book bins and printer ink!
