I have 21 eager and excited third-grade learners in my classroom. They come to school ready to learn and willing to work hard. Over 30% of the students in our school qualify for free and reduced-price lunch.
As a school, we encourage students to explore learning through Project Based Learning and maker activities.
I love teaching and giving my students a chance to work with tools they might not have access to at home. We have used Ozobots, Minecraft, and other online resources to integrate our content more with technology.
Our classroom focus has been on integrating more technology into our school the past few years, and this year it is a personal goal of mine to focus students back on spending time reading good books. I want to give them a space where they are excited to read and spend time with their books.
To help encourage them to get motivated to read a book, I want to update our classroom library and make it more inviting for students.
With new bean bag seats, a beautiful rug, and more book bins to shop from, students are sure to find a good book in no time!
