Sack Seats, Not Students!

My students need seat sacks for their seats as they sit and work at communal tables that do not offer individual storage. With these seat sacks, my students can conveniently store all of their educational materials!

My Students

I am proud to work at one of OUSD's most diverse schools; as a main hub for neighborhood, ​newcomer and refugee students, my site serves 700+ students whose families represent over 30 countries and speak over 20 languages.

My classroom fosters a community of students who reflect this larger population and it is my intention to build a classroom community where cultural and linguistic diversity is celebrated and leveraged for learning.

Please consider supporting me as a first-year teacher who wants to create a classroom and fill it with resources and materials that will support this vision and goal.

My Project

I am a first year teacher and am seeking materials that will support my students' learning. My classroom has large communal tables for students to sit and work at, however, they do not provide individual storage of any kind. We are currently using old seat sacks that are limited in size, and my students are already running out of space to store their materials!

To support easy access to materials and supplies, I'm seeking support in providing seat sacks for my students so that they can store their folders, workbooks, reading books, and essential supplies right at their seats!

In doing so, students will readily access their materials and get to learning faster! Thank you in advance for your help!
