Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach PE to students in grades K-5 in a multicultural school that celebrates diversity. My students enjoy running, racing, biking, bowling, dancing, and tennis. They also enjoy reading, math, and playing foursquare and basketball at recess. We are currently at a temporary location while our school is being remodeled.

Every year, we have a family multi-cultural night where families bring food and wear traditional clothes to celebrate their culture.

It's a great time to celebrate the diversity at our school.

My Project

Several of my students are picky eaters. They don't always eat everything on their tray for lunch. My students are hungry later in the day and right after school. Having a variety of snacks such as veggie straw chips, Wheat Thins, Sun Chips and Cup Noodles to choose from would be great for my students to have when they get hungry.

Your donation would help give my students the energy they need to learn, play, and stay active every day.

My students really love snacks and they would really appreciate having something to snack on when they are hungry. The Cup Noodles are something they can enjoy eating when they need something more than just a snack.
