This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My third grade class is full of explorers, artists, reporters and students that are eager to learn new things! As a teacher in a low income school district, my students are faced with many hardships both inside and outside of the classroom that are out of their control.
Despite the many challenges that my students face daily, I am eager to keep things both fun and engaging in my classroom by providing them with interactive learning, new experiences and supplies of good quality.
My Project
My students use dry erase boards on a regular basis throughout all subjects. Currently we have 6, which works well during small groups but not so much during whole group instruction. With a classroom set of dry erase boards all of my students can participate at the same time. This will make my lessons more inclusive and also fun!
School supplies may seem like a small thing, but for my students, it makes a HUGE difference.
These supplies are the first step to ensuring a successful second half of the school year. Please help my students stay on point with a new pencil sharpener and other supplies!
