I teach an amazing class of four and five year olds, who are getting ready for Kindergarten! My students are bursting with energy and each brings a unique personality.
My class is filled with little people with varying levels of ability.
I never know what each day will bring and love the excitement and joy our classroom has inside its four walls.
Every student in our classroom can have free breakfast and free lunch. I am thankful for this program for our littles. We are located in rural Northwestern Wisconsin.
My Project
My students are becoming increasingly aware of the rural Northwestern Wisconsin community we reside in. The students enjoy exploring the community we live in by recreating this with farming items and roadway signs.
Free choice and small group times are some of my students' favorite times of the day, and my students enjoy practicing their social skills while creating community play environments.
It is exciting to observe my students use materials independently and creatively while expressing their pride in their accomplishments.
We are requesting farm animals with a barn and signs to create a rural community activity center. These materials will be used in all three of our 4K classrooms and will have a great impact on our 4K programming for years to come.
