Help me give my students basic supplies to use for the remainder of the school year.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our school located in a diverse city in Connecticut. My student are just as diverse as the city they live in. All of my student receive free lunch and many of them do not come to school with basic school supplies. My students come to me with a wide range of academic needs. In my class of 24, 17 kiddos are reading at a Kindergarten Level, 5 are reading at a First Grade Level and only 2 are reading close to grade level. Additional, 9 of my kiddos are English Language Learners.
I believe it is important for all student to have the school supplies they need whether their parents can afford them or not. I purchase most of my classroom supplies.
At this point in the year many of our basic supplies are running out.
In addition to supplies like crayons and erases, I have requested a classroom set of lap sized dry erase boards and markers. These would serve many purposes in our classroom. They would be used during centers, phonic and math instruction.
My class is full of energetic and eager learners, and they have learned at a young age to make due with the short supplies. This request would make sure that our class had enough crayons and erasers for the rest of the year.
