Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is in the inner city. Our students are poor and from all over the world. Many of their families don't speak English, and they are here for the first time. Our students are wonderful at sports and love gym class. They are from many different countries and speak many languages. We have wonderful athletes, and I would like to have a track team with Fitbits!
Our students are special because they are very eager to learn.
They love gym and recess and are very grateful for everything they receive. Our students are great at sports and enjoy playing time. They are the best. Our students are really good athletes. In fact, we win many competitions against other schools.
My Project
This donation will make a difference to our kids in terms of helping them train for our big event in the spring! Our kids are invited to be part of the Penn Relays - a huge college event that takes place in our city every year! We will utilize the batons and fitbits for training purposes.
The equipment I am requesting is utilized to help train our athlete and help them reach for their personal best!
It’s wonderful for our kids to compete and train while learning and socializing with others - they will be grateful.
