Run Like A Girl

Help me give my students a healthy after school snack, and personal care items to fuel the start of their journey to fitness, confidence, kindness and decision making skills.

My Project

This project is going to help girls ranging from grades 3-5 to be better prepared for starting Girls On The Run. More than 95,000 girls served in Chicagoland since 1999 and we are bringing this amazing program to our school.

We want to instill in our girls the necessary skills needed to live an active lifestyle while simultaneously allowing for expression and learning real life problem solving skills.

With this project, the girls participating in the program will be given access to healthy snacks every day afterschool to fuel their bodies as we embark on a journey, and also will be provided with personal hygiene materials that they may not typically have access to.
