Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our district educates approximately 250 residential and day students in kindergarten through grade 12 who have emotional, behavioral, and learning problems. Most students reside here and live in cottages with an array of different staff members supporting them.
The computer lab is open to students in grades kindergarten through twelve.
Our classroom is designed to attract all ages and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere of happiness to it when you enter. We try to keep a peaceful environment. Lessons are tailored to each student's ability and most often, one-on-one instruction is necessary.
My Project
Our class TCC21 Workout from home team would love team hats to go running in this winter. We need a warm hat to help keep us warm as we exercise and go running outside this winter. Students can also wear this hat as they travel trough the different buildings on campus. Our recreation building is a long walk and it does get cold out there and many of my students don't have a hat. This will help them stay warm during the day and when they go home to exercise!
Outdoor activity is promoted and healthy for our students.
We should encourage them to go outside and run a little bit each day. Staying healthy and fit is important for our youth.
