My Students

Our school is a rural school with wonderful families and students. I teach special education and have for the last 14 years. I enjoy helping students who are falling behind and need extra guidance.

My students have disabilities such as learning disabilities and mental impairments.

They are awesome! They deserve a bright and colorful room to work in! Please help us get a rug brighten up our workspace! They will be so excited to walk into a room that is cheerful and conducive to learning!

My Project

These beautiful area rugs will give my students a bright and exciting room to learn in, but also will give them a comfortable place to learn on the floor! This will brighten up our room and be a flexible seating option to students who sometimes have difficulty staying in their seat. While working in small groups, we can collaborate on the floor to complete partner or group work, read, or have a discussion. These rugs will allow us to have other options besides just chairs to sit in. My students will be so excited to have new rugs to work on!
