My Students

My students are bright, hardworking, dedicated students.

They live in a low income area, thus all students receive free lunch.

They face challenges on a daily basis but, focus on their education to make their dreams reality. They work hard to be successful and have a love for learning. Our community is rich in culture. Students will bond to our school and it will become part of their extended family. Students will come to visit after years have passed sharing their successes in life.

My Project

Currently my classroom has tile floors that are scratched up due to the desk rubbing the floor. I would love to have a mini makeover for my awesome students. They would enjoy coming into my class that will be more inviting. As, they are working on their current PBL project they will now be able to enjoy their class. I will also be able to create stations using the carpets. This will bring my classroom into the 21st century. Students will be assigned to their station and at times rotate as we have different workshops. My classroom will now be their favorite place.
